Council Facilitation/Relations

Councilmanic reviews of the City Manager is one of the most challenging aspects of the City Manager position.  It is critically important to ensure that the Manager is receiving clear and effective feedback from the Council as well as the Council receiving feedback from the Manager on opportunities for enhanced communication.  The Harrison Group is available to assist in Council-manic reviews of the City Manager with the goal of enhancing alignment between the communities elected officials and its chief appointed executive.

We are also skilled in facilitating workshops and council retreats.  We work closely with the City Manager and the Council to develop strategic priorities, understanding  the communities financial constraints, and alignment between the staff and the Council on realistic and measurable goals.
